Democracy Unleashed

Democracy Unleashed is a book that advocates Direct Democracy. It describes many world problems and representative government problems and claims that those can only be solved via a political change in the system itself.

The book describes politics from a new perspective. Instead of left versus right it looks at issues from a group versus individuals, group versus group and especially government and interest groups versus the public. From this new vantage point we look not only at politics but also at history, economics, foreign relations and armed conflicts. Current world affairs and issues are thus described in a similar manner.

The book offers a solution to those problems by defining a new political system we call Direct Democracy: Giving the public unprecedented decision making power via the use of modern information technologies. This new political system is so different from any known systems of governments to be labeled “revolutionary”.

Although this is a political philosophy book, it does not, as one might assume, lay upon the works of classical political philosophers. It does, however, lay upon modern research in fields such as game theory, history, statistics, memetics, genetics and computer science.
